Bejan K. Ghatrehee
Mr. Ghatrehee's practice focuses on helping people who have experienced catastrophic injuries in car and 18 wheeler accidents, motorcycle wrecks or other types of motor vehicle collisions. He understands that dealing with the aftermath of an injury can be overwhelming, which is why he enjoys helping clients and seeing their stress go down. Our goal is to earn maximum compensation for our clients in repayment for their harms and losses due to the negligence of others.

Mr. Ghatrehee's practice has shifted to personal injury but he has past extensive experience in representing clients in connection with IRS collection matters. In resolving collection matters, he negotiated installment agreements and offers in compromise, and, where appropriate, advice as to the discharge ability of taxes in bankruptcy, IRS tax controversy matters, including federal and state taxpayer examinations, appeals, civil and criminal tax litigation, tax compliance matters, including multinational filing requirements such as FBAR, and other contested tax matters in state and federal courts. In addition, Mr. Ghatrehee’s past practice experience includes estate planning (from preparation of wills, powers of attorney, living wills and guardianship designations to preparation of trust documents), probate (from probating of a will to representation of beneficiaries and/or fiduciaries throughout the estate administration process).

After years of IRS tax litigation practice, Mr. Ghatrehee wanted to really help those in need and decided to change his focus in order to serve individuals who have been injured.
Mr. Ghatrehee received his Bachelor of Science degree from University of Texas at Dallas, summa cum laude, in 2004 and his Juris Doctor degree from SMU Dedman School of Law, cum laude, in 2009. Prior to graduating, Mr. Ghatrehee served as Chief Justice of the SMU Federal Taxpayers Clinic in 2009 and as a student attorney for the Clinic in 2008. Before forming Ghatrehee Law Firm PLLC, Mr. Ghatrehee was an associate at Calvo Fisher & Jacob, LLP.

He is admitted to practice in Texas and Guam, as well as before the United States Tax Court. Mr. Ghatrehee is a member of the State Bar of Texas, the American Bar Association – Taxation Section, and the Dallas Bar Association – Tax Section and Probate, Trusts and Estates Section.
